Tasks:
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily kitchen operations. Manage and supervise cooks, kitchen staff, and food preparation personnel. Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and ensure operational efficiency. Oversee food preparation to ensure quality, portion control, and presentation standards. Train and evaluate kitchen staff; recommend promotions or disciplinary actions when required. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and occupational health regulations. Control food and labour costs; monitor waste and implement cost?saving measures. Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships. Coordinate equipment maintenance and kitchen repairs.
